Dropping Bombs!

I stopped back at the church office to finish up some work and I noticed a lingering toxic smell. Confused and nauseous I asked the student chilling in my office if he knew what was up. He told me that he dropped a bomb in the bathroom down the hall. I was disgusted and amazed all at the same time. Somehow this so called "bomb" infiltrated the entire church offices and every hallway. You couldn't escape the reality of what had happened. To my amazement this guy was proud, collected, & unfazed at the havoc and discomfort he caused the entire church.

While driving today I was thinking of a parallel and how we fail to  drop "bomb's" for Christ in our lives. When was the last time your love for Jesus Christ infiltrated an entire room? When was the last time God's calling on your life made the people around you uncomfortable? I am not saying go out and try to drop little christian bombs...our culture has enough of those and it's annoying. I'm talking about being so filled with the spirit of God that your a walking bomb and you don't even know it.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked our for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2

You're surrounded.
Fix your eyes on the target: JESUS
It's time to drop a bomb.
Go clear a room.

Make those around you uncomfortable with Truth and Love. Your only focus should be glorifying Jesus Christ. If you are satisfied solely in Him then you are a walking bomb! Set Christ a part as Lord within your heart and watch Him change lives around you. It's always uncomfortable when something bigger than us is in the room; let it be Jesus.

Love you guys,

Brian
